I decided to not participate in this year's Amber Quill contest. I'm a bit bummed about that because it meant so much to me, maybe too much (LOL), but the idea wasn't working and there is no time to start fresh. So it's best to wait and hopefully prepare soemthing during the year for next year.

Moving right along though, I am now mapping out ideas for a trilogy. This is something I've wanted to do for some time and it incorporates several past plot ideas, which is very cool. There is nothing like sex and murder to get my wheels grinding.

Book 1 involves Alex, a bold, independent, AfricanAmerican restaurant owner, who gets entangled in a murder and her past. Eric, the charming newspaper reporter, helps her untangle the web and brings adventure to her life. Theft and a missing jewel adds to this tale.

Book 2 has beautiful, submissive Sabine suddenly become the victim of a stalker. Will her neighbor, rugged, compassionate, handyman, Jarod, be a suspect of the only person who can save her from her family, herself, and near-death? Infidelity runs close to home and threatens the foundation of Sabine's life.

Book 3 takes us into the troubled past of sexy, creative, Gia. While working through her past, as well as the murder that has troubled all three women since their teens, she leans on Alex's seductive and protective brother, a homicide detective, Nic. Misception and lies run deep throughout.

Well those are the concepts thus far, but I'm sure changes will be made. :)
